She got ready at the beautiful Hartsfield Manor in Betchworth, Surrey, and the whole morning had such a calm, happy energy. There was fizz flowing, and lots of laughter between Jess and her bridesmaids. It really was such a lovely start to the day.

Set in the heart of the Surrey countryside, Hartsfield Manor is the kind of venue that feels grand but still welcoming. It’s a Victorian manor house surrounded by 16 acres of stunning gardens - the perfect setting for a relaxed, elegant wedding. The morning started in one of their beautiful prep suites, with big windows, plenty of space for everyone, and that lovely balance of calm and excitement that you only get on a wedding day.

Jess knew exactly how she wanted to feel - glowing, confident, and still completely like herself - and that’s always what we aim for. Nothing heavy or overdone, just soft, radiant makeup and hair that holds all day without looking too “done”.

Jess wore lovely white pyjamas while she got ready, and her bridesmaids looked gorgeous in matching satin sets in soft pinks and rich berry tones - they all looked amazing before we’d even started! It’s always a joy working with a group who are excited, relaxed, and up for a giggle - and these girls were just that.

For Jess’s makeup, we kept things really fresh and natural. Glowy skin, soft definition around the eyes, a hint of blush and bronzer - nothing too much, just enough to bring out her features and give her that lit-from-within look. Her hair was styled in loose, soft waves with a delicate floral hair accessory tucked in - the perfect touch of detail without being fussy.

Each of the bridesmaids had their own little twist on the look too. We always tailor hair and makeup to suit the individual - it’s all about enhancing what’s already there and helping each person feel their absolute best.

Jess looked stunning walking down that sweeping staircase at Hartsfield Manor, and you could just see how happy and ready she was. It’s such a privilege to be part of mornings like this - helping someone feel beautiful and calm before such a big moment in their life.
